to our holiday apartment at Rosengarten in Gelnhausen.
The approximately 50 sqm (540 sq ft) studio apartment is ideal for 1-2 people. Its central location in Gelnhausen is perfect for experiencing the city and discovering its sights. The ruins of the medieval Imperial Palace are just a five-minute walk away, and Gelnhausen’s historic old town with its picturesque framework houses and winding alleys is also within easy reach. The holiday apartment is a 10-minute walk away from the train station.
Our apartment, completed in 2023, welcomes you with its cozy atmosphere for a relaxing stay in the Barbarossa city.
The amenities: Queen-size bed, pantry kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, kettle, dining area, and reading nook. Additionally, there is a spacious bathroom with natural light and a large shower. A crib and a high chair can be added.
Right outside the door, there is a terrace and a 250 sqm (2,690 sq ft) garden, which gives the holiday apartment its name. From spring to late summer, the garden enchants with shady trees (large cherry tree, magnolias, and more) and lush rose blooms. The adjacent „Mühlgraben,“ a branch of the Kinzig river, makes our garden a hidden oasis in the middle of the city. The access is fenced and secure for children and dogs.
The apartment is located in the basement of a three-family house and is accessible via stairs, making it unfortunately not barrier-free. Pets are allowed. The apartment is non-smoking; smoking is permitted only in the garden or on the terrace.
The cost: 55 euros per night, with tiered pricing for stays of 10 days or more. An additional 55 euros per week is charged for providing towels and bed linen as well as for the final cleaning.
